This cream color crochet safari hat is a great head covering for all seasons. Created with 4ply worsted weight yarn, but with a slightly open stitch, you can wear this hat all year long. I used a Lion Brand Yarn pattern, and added a peachy cream yarn for the accent around the band and on the button top. It measures 21 1/2" around.

upscaled vintage blue bonnet with handmade satin flower
I discovered this beautiful vintage bonnet at a local estate sale, in a box of hats. It's a pretty silver blue (I think) satin hat, with wire in the rim. It had old ratty netting around it and hanging off the front, which I promptly tore off and replaced with soft silk fabric with a blue flower pattern. Then I asked Nina from You Are My Sunshine to create a fabric flower to finish it off. I love how it turned out, and argued with myself about selling it or not, but it's a tad small for my head, which is good for you. Now you can purchase this hat, and enjoy the compliments you'll receive while wearing it.
