Ter Borg grew up on a farm in rural Bel Air and began making jewelry as a hobby during graduate school. The full-time working mom of two young girls—a scientist by trade—has turned her hobby into a flourishing business. Celebrities wearing Ter Borg’s designs in 2012 included Giada De Laurentiis, Bethenny Frankel, Trista Rehn Sutter of The Bachelorette, Alison Sweeney of The Biggest Loser, and Amanda Seyfried.
