Madagascan Sunset Moth Pendant, Real Butterfly Jewelry

This is a Real Butterfly Wing Pendant of the species Chrysiridia rhipheus more commonly known as the Madagascan Sunset Moth. This is a bottom wing (hindwing) and I soldered the wing smooth and added droplets of solder around the wing. I put a dark finish on it and polished it to a high shine with finishing wax to seal it. It measures 5cm x 3cm.

Bold and Beautiful Quilt

A very bright and pretty quilt. The colors consist of gold, yellow, pink, red, green and black. The outside border is a paisley print which are also in the smaller blocks on the quilt. The quilt backing was done in the large floral with a black backgroud fabric which are in the larger quilt blocks on the front. This is a beautiful patchwork quilt that will look great on a wall or as a throw.
