Every day, The Creative Community will be celebrating a person. An e:commerce shop. A shop owner. Someone who has taken the leap and followed their dream. These creatives - in whatever form they come in - deserve to be celebrated!

Wednesday:
Laurie has been creating jewelry for over 5 years. She is a metalsmith, jewelry designer and handmade enthusiast. Her wearable metal sculptures are a labor of love that are a blend of designs made as unique as each of her customers are. Being a working artist allows her to be herself, follow her creative bliss, and work towards her goals.
Beautiful things in nature, flipping through magazines and catalogs, and just playing with beads and findings can really inspire her to design jewelry.

Name: Linda Welcome
Location: Ellington, CT
Linda has been creating and making miniatures and mice since 1981. She has been featured in W.M. Greene's Your Exceptional Home, Faith Mountain Catalog and about another dozen or so mail order catalogs. She grew up in a little town named Hazardville, famous for being the place where gunpowder was made my Colonel Hazard in “Powder Hollow” that they used in the Civil War.
Fun fact about Linda: Her Senior year in high school, she won Miss Teenage Enfield.
